Product Update: UoMs and Disassembly orders now Available in Logiks WMS

UoM Functionalities Added Across Modules

We’ve introduced Unit of Measure (UoM) functionality in several key areas to enhance flexibility and precision. The updates include:

• Goods Receipt: Support for processing items with different UoMs during receipt.
• Goods Return: Multi-UoM capabilities added to handle returns with greater accuracy.
• Sales Return: UoMs integrated for processing returned items, with barcode scanning to recognize multi-UoMs.
• Issue to Production: UoMs now available for handling production workflows.

Benefit: Users can now handle items in multiple units across these modules, ensuring more accurate inventory management and streamlined operations.

New Production Order Type: Disassembly

A new “Disassembly” type has been added to production scenarios, complementing existing standard and special order types.

Features:

• Create disassembly orders to break down products into components and record associated costs.
• Combine standard and disassembly orders in “Issue to Production” and “Receipt from Production” workflows.
• Barcode scanning supports seamless processing of all production order types, including disassembly.

Benefit: Greater flexibility in production management, allowing users to manage dismantling operations and mixed order types efficiently.
